Our work involves taking people out for a memorable fishing experience, and we love our work!
We provide men, women, and families with memories that last a lifetime, regardless of their age or experience level. We offer instructions from some of the most knowledgeable deckhands on the water if they have never fished. And if they are a bit unsure of going into deeper waters, we’ll set them up with one of our near shore or close offshore charters for either a half or full-day.
Our goal has always been and continues to be to help our customers have the most entertaining experience imaginable while aboard one of our boats. As a result of our sincere efforts over the years, we have received numerous awards. And 2022 is no exception!
Wave Dancer Charters receives the 2022 Galveston Award
The Galveston Award Program is an annual awards program honoring the achievements and accomplishments of local businesses throughout the Galveston area. They recognize these companies for having shown an ability to “use their best practices and implemented programs to generate competitive advantages and long-term value.”
The Galveston Award Program was initially established to identify and honor the best local businesses in our community. These companies have achieved exceptional marketing success in their community and business category. They enhance the positive image of small businesses through service to their customers and our community while helping make the Galveston area an excellent place to live, work, and play.
The awards organization works exclusively with local business owners, trade groups, professional associations, and other business advertising and marketing groups with a mission to recognize the small business community’s contributions to the U.S. economy.
Wave Dancer Charters has been selected for the 2022 Galveston Award in the Fishing Charter category by the Galveston Award Program. The organization gathered and analyzed various information sources to determine the winners in each category. Focusing on quality instead of quantity, the 2022 Galveston Award Program winners were selected from the information gathered internally by the Galveston Award Program itself and by data provided by third parties.
Although it would be quite an honor to receive this award one time, Wave Dancer Charters also earned a ten-year trophy and plaque, recognizing them for having garnered this award for ten consecutive years! Needless to say, all of us are incredibly proud of this accomplishment!
The Best Family-Orientated Fishing Charter in Texas
2022 is also the year that Wave Dancer Charters was honored with one of the 6th annual Travel and Tourism awards from an award LUXlife magazine. We were named Best Family-Oriented Fishing Charter in Texas, a prize that means so much to us because we strive to provide wholesome family fun with any of our charters.
