Wave Dancer Charters is committed to implementing sustainable practices to ensure that our charter fishing business minimizes our impact on the environment while simultaneously advancing conservation efforts in Galveston. Our goals are to promote sustainable fishing and environmental stewardship while sharing our love for fishing with our customers.
To accomplish these goals, we have partnered with Texas Sea Grant to use a reusable and sustainable beverage system onboard our vessel. We are pleased to provide our guests with clean, safe drinking water from our insulated, high quality water dispenser. We ask that our guests bring their own reusable water bottles whenever possible to reduce the number of disposable plastic bottles being used in the marine environment. Plastic bottles are the #1 item that becomes marine debris in Texas.
We will continue to offer individual water bottles for guests who don’t have their own reusable bottle, but we hope that you will consider joining us in reducing the amount of trash in Texas waters by choosing reusable alternatives to single-use plastics whenever possible.
