What To Bring
What’s Provided & What You Need To Bring
All Wave Dancer Charters trips are all-inclusive. Galveston charter boats will provide fuel for the boat, tackle, rod and reels, Ice for the fish, baits/lures, Ice Cold bottled water. When we return to the dock, we will clean your catch and bag them for your trip home.
When you arrive for an offshore trip at the Galveston Yacht Basin drive straight forward into the parking lot and look for the 2nd row of covered boats, (that’s the B Dock). We are located at slips B79, B80 and B82. If you have any trouble finding us or getting in the gate, give us a call at 409.988.888 and we will advise. If you have lots of stuff to bring for a deep sea trip. give us a call and we will pick you up on the golf cart.
You will need to bring a Texas Saltwater Fishing License (one day pass is OK), an ice chest to bring your catch home, sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, soft sole shoes, (no boots please) drinks, beer is OK in can, plastic or metal (no glass), snack, lunch, chapstick, camera and sea sick medication if needed. If you think that you might get seasick, take Dramamine at least 1 hour before we shove off (recommend the less drowsy kind so you don’t miss out on the excitement). NO HARD LIQUOR, NO “Glass” BOTTLE DRINKS PLEASE, and NO BANANAS.
On a Close Offshore Jetty/Shark Trip, be sure to include a Red Drum tag with your license.
We look forward to meeting you and fishing with you on one of our World Class Offshore Fishing Trips on Galveston charter boats. We love fishing with children too, so if you have children and were thinking about leaving them home, “BRING THEM”. They will have the time of their lives. We can also cater any trip for special needs persons as well. Just let us know in advance and we will have everything set up for you when you arrive. Have a safe trip to the boat and we will see you the day of your trip on the dock!
