Fall is here, and what better time to be out on the water, soaking up some sun in Galveston, Texas? On top of the weather being beautiful this time of year, fall is also flounder season, and the perfect time to catch a variety of fantastic fish!
Fall Flounder Fishing
With the cooler temperatures comes the fall flounder run. These bottom-dwelling fish offer a unique fishing experience, as flounder lie flat on the bottom of the ocean and ambush their prey. As this is the case, anglers will often work bait or lures along the ocean bottom. Once the fight starts, though, it’s on! Expect a challenging but fun experience when it comes to catching delicious flounder.
Once we get back on land, we’ll prep those delicious flounder. Wave Dancer Charters offers a “Catch and Cook” experience, where we clean the fillets for you after you catch them, and you then take your fish to a nearby restaurant for them to prepare it for you!

If you would like a full list of what you should bring, let us know. If you want to bring beer that’s fine. Just make sure it is of the canned variety.
